While still a small minority, campers are more likely to own an electric vehicle than those who don’t go camping, according to a survey by Kampgrounds of America, the nation’s largest campground operator. Only about 1% of Americans currently have an electric vehicle, according to KOA, but about 4% of regular campers do. “We’ve had customers cross coasts, all the way up to Canada, all the way across Canada and back down, all with an electric vehicle,” said Bowlus CEO Geneva Long. I was in the office alone on a Saturday, muddling through, when Paul walked in. SAN ANTONIO (AP) — Charlie Robison, the Texas singer-songwriter whose rootsy anthems made the country charts until he was forced to retire after complications from a medical procedure left him unable to sing, died Sunday. Robison died at a hospital in San Antonio after suffering cardiac arrest and other complications, according to a family representative. In 1996, he released his solo debut, “Bandera,” named for the Texas Hill Country town where his family has had a ranch for generations. When he was approached by Sony in 1998, Robison signed with its Lucky Dog imprint, which was devoted to rawer country. Three of his children were with his first wife, Emily Strayer, a founding member of the superstar country band The Chicks.

For humans, laughter has expanded from its original function as a play signal to serve a variety of social functions. I suspect people borrow and transform the play signal of laughter to influence situations that, on their face, have nothing to do with play. A viral tweet falsely claimed Hooters is shutting down and rebranding to appeal to millennials. "There is no validity to this story," Hooters of America said in a statement shared with Insider. The tweet — posted by Daily Loud, a website focused on hip-hop and viral news — claimed Hooters "was shutting down and 'rebranding' after a new study found that millennials 'aren't that into boobs.'" The 2017 study by Pornhub found younger people were less likely to search for breasts on pornography websites. After a series of viral TikTok videos shared by staffers, Hooters adjusted its policy to make the new uniforms optional.
